My name is Mary Ostrander. I have been doing event photography since 2001. Shortly after 9/11, I decided to serve my community as a law enforcement officer. I never stopped my photography, but it was not my primary focus. I recently decided to refocus my attention on photography and provide affordable services for customers in Northeast Kansas.

Circle S Ranch is a family-owned and operated business tucked away in the beautiful rolling hills 20 minutes north of Lawrence, Kansas. You have the choice of two ceremony locations: our wedding garden surrounded by oak trees, or our restored barn chapel. The Party Barn reception space holds 200+ wedding guests that can dance the night away. Our 12-room Inn is perfect for couples who would like to make their wedding a weekend experience for their wedding party and families. The Great Room is ideal for smaller wedding of 60 people or less. You could describe my style as rustic, boho, wild, fun, country and controlled chaos (with the littles - let’s face it, we want to capture kids AS KIDS and it is OK! Honestly, THE BEST!) - and my absolute FAVORITE place to be is out in the Kansas fields - especially at sunset!
