“Don't think twice - book A.M. Productions for your wedding now!! We knew how crucial it was to book the right DJ & entertainment to deliver the energy we wanted for our wedding and they EXCEEDED our expectations. We got married in April 2025 and had DJ Forum (Alex) mixing and emceeing. Aaron (the owner) also graciously came through to ensure a smooth event. We came to learn about A.M. through a recommendation from our wedding planner. It was also validating to later see them on our venue's (The Peach Orchard) preferred vendor list! During consultation, we were drawn to their extensive services/add-ons, quality of work, and competitive pricing. We selected their Super Star package (most popular) and chose subwoofers and advanced uplighting. We also added on their photo booth which was exactly what we needed - a backdrop, self-service, no props, digital gallery, present the entire wedding, and the convenience of having it handled by the same team. Leading up to our wedding day, the A.M. production team were well-organized and provide you with a wealth of tips, resources, and instructions. We filled out their comprehensive "Wedding DJ Planner" sheet that helps them prepare and provided them playlists of 10-15 songs each for cocktail hour, dinner service, and dance floor (we used Spotify) to help inspire the mood/energy we were looking for. The wedding day was FLAWLESS! They went above and beyond, surprising us with moving heads AND a CO2 gun which was a crowd favorite. DJ Forum read the crowd amazingly and his mixes were fire. Our guests spoke very highly of them - with some intending to book A.M. for their own weddings in the future! For a complete package of professional lighting, sound, photobooth, energy, service, and more - book A.M. productions with confidence!! “My experience with this venue was absolutely amazing. My fiancé and I were not high maintenance or detail oriented for our wedding. We wanted the a simple nice wedding that we did not have to put a lot of work in and this place was perfect! High quality venue and vendors!! The venue itself was so beautiful, you barely have to decorate it. The vendors are all with the venue, and our amazing planner Sheilah W was awesome! She gets everything prepared and deals with contacting all the vendors and putting everyone on the same page. I was so shocked the packages even included stationeries (save the dates & invites) ! Vendors included flowers, photographer, catering, DJ, day of coordinator, cake/desserts, all inclusive bar. I am so glad we chose to have our wedding here! When I tell people I barely did anything to plan this wedding.. I mean it. In a good way because it was such a stress free planing process for us! It was such a great day. Simple and beautiful”

“Jackie is incredible! She did my bridal makeup for my wedding in May, and I was blown away with the results. From the start she was very responsive and informative. I chose not to do a trial before my wedding day, so I was not sure what to expect having never had my makeup professionally done. Jackie came in, on time and set up almost like a mini make up studio and it gave the whole experience a very luxurious feel. She is very professional but also very easy to talk with and she brought a really fun energy. “Where to even begin when it comes to my absolute love and adoration for all things Poppin’ Peonies, but most of all my complete love for BRE!!! From the beginning my 3 non negotiables for our wedding were FOOD,FLOWERS, & PHOTOS. And when I tell you Bre delivered and exceeded my expectations I am not lying. I booked with Bre after having a weird gut feeling with a previous wedding floral designer. The energy was off and I didn’t feel heard with the other designer but after my initial consultation call with Bre, I not only felt heard I felt as if I was talking to a friend. Our first call was one hour and it felt like 10 minutes. She understood the sentimental importance of florals for me personally and gave honest insight on design and cohesion. She didn’t dismiss what I thought I wanted. Instead she gave BETTER and more realistic options of availability during the time of year we were getting married (JULY in VA in no joke… LOL) I not only felt heard but increasingly validated by Bre and all nerves about the design of the day melted away. Seeing my vision come to life with her collaboration & expertise was truly breathtaking and a part of our wedding that people but mostly myself will never forget. Breanne’s organization, diligence, and most of all communication was monumental during this process but I completely trusted her. Looking at our florals and design for our wedding it is something truly timeless but also unique and wild at the time. It is EXACTLY what I wanted and turned out better than imagined. All the florals I had saved and envisioned over the years from bridal magazines, Pinterest, and even mine and my late mother’s favorite florals were incorporated into our special day. On a personal note, Bre was so diligent and intentional when it came to my late Mothers “ In Loving Memory of” chair during our ceremony ,that is easily one of the most sentimental moments of our wedding. For that alone, I am eternally grateful. Bottom line, you absolutely cannot go wrong with booking with Poppin Peonies and Bre. In any way shape or form it will be the best decision and most seamless decision of your wedding journey. “We got married in April here and it was amazing! The venue is beautiful and there is a lot of space. My planner, Madison, was very helpful during the process and would answer any questions I had. Our coordinators Janeen and Jackie were awesome! They helped make the day flow perfectly and if we needed anything they were on top of it! The DJ was great as well and was included in the package. The only compliant I have was that they ran out of food even though less people showed up then in our final guest count. We got the steak option and it was delicious but the portions they gave out were small and they somehow still ran out...”

“AvantGarden (and Mariana, the owner) did a great job with our wedding, especially considering the extreme weather we experienced! We appreciated that the venue was mostly all-inclusive, especially when planning the event from out of town, and for a very reasonable price! The event space itself has a casual, fun vibe with plenty of room for our guests (175) to explore and excellent food and drinks. Many of our guests made a point to come up to us and tell us how much fun they had and how awesome the venue was, and we were shocked by how many people said the taco truck (venue recommendation) was the best wedding food they had ever had! The staff was great and made some excellent cocktails and I also have to shout out DJ Dillon for bringing such a fun vibe to our karaoke after party (another Mariana recommendation). You do need to put your faith in Mariana and be prepared to "let go", however. If you're looking to be very hands-on and are particular about all the little details, prepare to be frustrated because that's not the way Mariana works. She has her own process and knows what will and will not work based on experience, and she can be tricky to get in touch with until closer to the wedding date. Ultimately, though, she came through and did an excellent job for us. Trust in Mariana! Overall, it was super helpful that AvantGarden took care of most of the wedding planning (including delivering our flowers to our off-site ceremony venue), and the space made for such a fun atmosphere during the reception. I would definitely recommend AvantGarden as a wedding venue, especially for couples who are looking for a less stuffy and more unique atmosphere and who are looking to be more hands-off in the planning process.”

We have a lot of immediate family that does not get along what so ever & Miriam helped me work out the best way to organize people for pictures after the ceremony without having them intermingle. She organized specific list of people for specific shots so all she has to do was call out names in the moment & it made the whole process go smoothly! She was by far one of my most favorite vendors to interact with & her work is one of my favorite take always from our wedding! “Hiring Manny was probably the best decision we could've made for our wedding day. We happened to snag a free engagement photoshoot from him while he was traveling in our area, and we didn't expect to book him for our wedding because he lived out of state, so we assumed that flying him out would be too expensive. However, when we were looking for DC-based photographers, we weren't finding anyone who had the bright, joyful style that we saw in Manny's photos, and all the local photographers were SO expensive anyway. So, we decided to reach out to Manny to see if we could work something out, and thank goodness we did!! Manny helped create a custom package that worked within our budget, and then he exceeded all of his promises anyway. He delivered more photos than promised, faster than promised. The night of our wedding, he had posted a cute informal video compilation on his Instagram (we hadn't purchased videography). He had sneak peeks ready ahead of schedule, and there were so many! He surprised us with a second shooter (a friend of his who is also a wedding photographer), polaroids, and even some drone photography of our venue. Best of all, the photos were absolutely beautiful. They captured every important moment, and everything looked just as beautiful and joyful as they felt on that day. The editing was flattering without being overdone. For example, my wife and I both had slightly different shades of white outfits--mine being ivory and hers being pure white--and I can tell from the guest photos that that didn't photograph well, with the bright August sun creating a blue light effect on the pure white outfit. But, Manny obviously took the time to edit every photo painstakingly, because his photos still look perfect. We cherish every one of them and have looked at them again and again. My wife's parents (who are very particular) were so impressed with the photos that they've also considered booking him for future anniversary shoots. I think the most important thing I can say about Manny is that he obviously loves his job. With the kind of happiness that he radiates and the way he goes above and beyond without being asked, you can just see that this is more than work to him. He loves to celebrate love. If you've taken the time to read this review, please go ahead and book with Manny. I promise you won't regret it!”

Carlos made contact with us regularly, walked us through how to use the Vibo app, worked with our venue coordinators at Crystal Ballroom at the Rice (Alexis Kent), worked with our planners at Whimsical Creative (Jen Molina), had a week-of call to finalize details and asked us all the right questions, listened to all our needs, and gave great suggestions for things that made our night special that never would have even occurred to us!
