“My daughter recently got married in Newport, Rhode Island, on September 14th, 2024. She choose to have her reception in a tent on the lawn of the Eisenhower House. The venue was stunning and the woman at EH recommended Clockwork as we were looking for a local band with horns to play at the reception. We were not able to hear them in person, but all the video's posted online more than helped our decision making process and we quickly booked the band 20 months in advance, It was our second decision in the wedding process after the venue -with many, many more to come, but without a doubt - IT WAS THE BEST DECISION!!!! Booking was easy - we sent a check to reserve the date. the catalog of music they are capable of playing is extensive. But we had a tremendous comfort level with Clockwork New England as the contract states YOU GET THE EXACT MUSICIANS you see on all the website videos. There are no switches, or long lists of band members they slot in on any given day. Everyone we saw and loved are the people that showed up for our event. From start to finish - the band rocked the night away - the dance floor was never empty. They sang the bride and grooms song 'You are the Best Thing" and it was spectacular. And every song after that just got us up off our feet. The horns added so much - we keep hearing from friends asking us who they were, because they LOVED the music. The interactions with the crowd also made the night so memorable - and some of the best videos of the night. We had an initial consultation with him to align on what we're generally looking for, completed a "worksheet" with all the music and MCing details and any specific songs/playlists we wanted played, and then a final meeting to review the day from top to bottom. Marcus was communicative and easy to reach with any questions during this time. On the day of the wedding, he came several hours ahead of time to set up and prepare. During the wedding, Marcus played all the music from guest arrival to reception exactly how we envisioned, and MC'd all of the entrances, first dances, guest photos, etc. exactly on time and without too much fluff, which is what we wanted. Later, he played a great set of 2010s-2020s EDM and hype guest favorites that got the dance floor lit, and with great mixing and transitions too. He went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect for our day. We cannot thank or recommend Miggy enough! The ceremony was perfect, we did not notice him nor was he intrusive in any way. It was perfectly set up and everything went without a hitch. For our reception Miggy was perfect, he was the best MC we could have asked for. Our entrance was timed perfectly and our dances went great. He was attentive to everything happening and always accommodated us. The cold sparks added so much to our day! Once again, Miggy went above and beyond in ways we cannot thank him enough! You would not have known our wedding was dry because Miggy kept the hits coming and didn't stop the entire night. He kept the entire crowd engaged the whole night. Our guests loved him and our day would not have been the same without him or his hard work! We cannot recommend Miggy and Amplify enough!”

The Photo Booth added such a fun touch to the evening and was definitely a huge hit with all the funny props! It also left us with a full digital album of all of our guests having the time of their lives and was immediately available for us to look at (which came in handy while we waited for our wedding photos to come back). Everyone wont stop talking about how fun/perfect our wedding was and these guys were definitely the reason. Adam D, our main contact, was always quick to respond and always available when it came to answering our questions. Our DJ, George, was incredible, not only keeping the energy high all night but also stepping in to help coordinate the evening. He read the room perfectly, checked in with us throughout, and adapted seamlessly to any changes. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ and MC. Our videographer, Leeland, went above and beyond to capture our day beautifully. He brought such fun energy while also knowing when to step back and let private moments unfold naturally.
