The Rustic Barn Venue was established in 2017 and has been the home of weddings, corporate gatherings, birthdays and many other events ever since. We offer personalized service and a first-rate venue to be the backdrop for your special occasion. Our unique venue boasts an event center "show barn" built in the 1940's for indoor receptions, ready rooms atop a converted corn crib, outdoor ceremony seating with pergola, grain bin bar and beautifully manicured lawns and gardens.

I am a professional violinist and fiddler available to perform within the Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin tri-state area. (Note: my travel radius is within approximately a 60-minute drive of the tri-state.) A classically trained violinist for 30+ years, I play professionally in several area symphony orchestras and chamber ensembles and perform solo for special events. I have also played the Hardanger fiddle, Norway's national folk instrument, for 15+ years and am available to perform, demonstrate, and lecture about this unique instrument.
