“I first ordered from the Cakery when my youngest daughter was 3 for her birthday. I ordered a cake and cake pops. Let me tell you I have never tasted a cake so good in my life. Icing was not overly sweet like most place do and the cake itself is moist and delicious. I have now solely used Laura for all of our families cake needs. We have been customers for 5 years now! “Hippie Bakez was amazing to work with for our wedding cake. They got back to us in plenty of time with all the details we needed, and the quality of their work was incredible. In fact, many of our guests thought the cake was actually ice cream it was so good! They were so amazing she was going to fix anything wrong as she thought something wasn’t right but it was actually some decoration things wrong the cake was perfect! Three weeks later, people are still raving about how delicious our wedding cake was - there was hardly any left after the reception! My husband said it tasted just like ice cream which was the first words he said after his first bite. I'm not much of a cake person myself, but I devoured as much as I could. We couldn't have asked for a better vendor to make our special day even sweeter. I can’t recommend hippie bakez enough if you want a cake to actually be ate go with these amazing people! “We LOVED working with Sweetened Memories. From the cake tasting (on china plates, water provided, guided by the wedding coordinator) to the communication process in between to our cake arriving at the venue - this place rocks. We ordered a four tiered cake with classic lambeth frosting. We agreed upon two of the layers being funfetti cake with cookie dough filling (you have to try this) and dark chocolate cake with raspberry preserves as the filling. “We cannot say enough amazing things about our wedding baker! From start to finish, the experience was absolutely incredible. The tasting experience was super easy and stunning. Our traditional tiered cake was stunning, elegant, beautifully crafted, and topped with sugar flowers that were so realistic that I genuinely thought they were fake at first. The level of detail and artistry was beyond anything we imagined. I had tears in my eyes when I saw her bring in the cake. What truly set our baker apart, though, was her willingness to take on something completely unique. We asked for a “bleeding armadillo” cake inspired by Steel Magnolias (not exactly a typical wedding request but if you know, you know) and even though she wasn’t familiar with it, she absolutely nailed it! Not only did it look fantastic, but it was also delicious and a huge hit with our guests. After the tasting, we requested that the red velvet be a little darker for the effect of the bleeding armadillo from the movie. Again, she surpassed our expectations. Her creativity, skill, and dedication made our wedding desserts are truly unforgettable. If you’re looking for someone who can deliver both classic elegance and fun, personalized designs, we wholeheartedly recommend her! “We would recommend Barnett Suites time and time again for any occasion! The pricing was extremely fair and after our wedding cake tasting I could not WAIT until wedding day to get some more bites. We had 165 people at our wedding and had ordered 450 mini cupcakes along with other desserts and people were grabbing them by the handfuls before our exit. Thankfully our planner also grabbed me and my husband a few to snack on later in the night because they all ended up getting grabbed. We opted for a simple design on a faux cake with two slices in it for the cutting and it worked out perfectly. Highlyy recommend!”

“Valerie of Frosted Swirl was an absolute delight to work with while creating mine and Dylan’s dream sweetheart wedding cake and cupcakes! From the very beginning, she made the entire process feel exciting, easy, and so special. We started with a tasting box, and honestly… we wished we could have chosen every single flavor. Each cupcake was beautifully crafted and unbelievably delicious. We ultimately chose four flavors that perfectly complemented our November 1st wedding - Apple Cider Donut, Cannoli, Brownie Sundae, and Chocolate Raspberry. The Chocolate Raspberry was so incredible that we knew immediately it had to be our sweetheart cake flavor as well! Our cake was stunning! “Amy was an absolute joy to work with! Because my husband is Peruvian American, we really wanted to have a dessert table at our reception (a Peruvian wedding tradition). We spent months trying to figure out how to make it happen without success when, miraculously, we stumbled upon Twin Treats on Zola. We reached out to Amy, who responded within hours. We were in Nashville for the weekend for wedding planning, and Amy threw together a tasting box for us with barely any notice. Every single dessert we sampled was scrumptious - it was difficult to choose only a handful for our wedding reception! For the big day, Amy went above and beyond, even learning how to make a traditional Peruvian cookie (the "alfajor") for the dessert table. She totally understood our vision for our wedding cake, too.
