Working with Annette and her Team was the best choice for our wedding and we are so happy with how the day turned out! Annette is so knowledgable and it truly feels like she cares about making it the most perfect experience. My husband and I did not want a long engagement. We reached out to Annette within a few months of when we wanted to marry and she was able to set up a beautiful wedding, while keeping the process simple and fun. We had minimal stressors and Annette would respond within hours when we had any questions or concerns, no matter the time or day. We wanted a small wedding along the North Shore and looked into Annette’s micro wedding package. This included planning/coordination, chairs and arch set up and tear down, officiant, music/speakers, a customizable small wedding cake with utensils, sparkling juice toast, customizable flowers for bride and groom (which were beautiful we got so many compliments!), and 2-hours of photography. We were able to chose from multiple photographers who were available during our day and spoke to them beforehand for planning. We had around 15 guests, but I recall more chairs are available. We also added on videography which we 100% recommend. The group Annette works with was amazing and we are so happy with the videos received. Annette had a list of spots we could chose from, or she was open to someplace we may find. We chose a State Park and Annette met with us there to find the perfect spot overlooking Lake Superior. Our officiant, Jean, was great to work with! We looked through pages of ceremony examples to pick and chose what we wanted said at our ceremony. We sent songs to walk down to and even had our first dance after the ceremony. Cost was upfront and easy to navigate on her website, with payments spread out. Annette and her Team thought of every detail and made sure it was executed to make it seamless for us. We appreciated how easy the process of planning was, and how day of we showed up to a beautiful set up and did not have to worry about all the specific details. Annette truly made our day so special and we would not change a thing!

Gracie Gregory Photography was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding! From the moment we first reached out, Gracie was so sweet and so fast at responding to all of our questions. She welcomed us with open arms and immediately felt like our new best friend. We cannot recommend Gracie Gregory Photography enough - you need to book her for your wedding! Why buy flowers when this is an option? Renting my flowers was such a good decision and they were absolutely beautiful. SBB makes the process so easy too. The flowers were lovely, they photographed well, and when we were done we sent them right back! A great option especially if you don’t want to spend a ton of money on floral arrangements.

Flower and oak were absolutely amazing. They showed up extremely early for our event and we had the highest premium package ordered for the day. We had a couple specific shoot ideas for THE GROOMSMEN and the minute I walked in the front door. I was greeted by both videographers With all kinds of cool camera gear and they told us exactly what to do and there was no time wasted. I highly recommend flower and oak to anyone looking at getting married soon. The one thing I don’t regret about our wedding day is using them because they were so great. Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (78 reviews)
  • Florist
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Butternut, WI

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Working with Flower Moxie - Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers was a fantastic experience. Their communication style was encouraging, clear and direct, and consistently positive throughout the process. The quality of their work and value provided was exceptional - the flowers we received were absolutely gorgeous, and their helpful tutorials made it easy for us to prepare everything for the wedding. My daughter loved her beautiful wedding bouquet and the way all the centerpieces for the reception turned out. We did have a few minor glitches with the delivery, but Alexa was *so* responsive and helpful, providing tracking information and overnighting replacement flowers when the colors weren't what we expected. Her fast response time and practical support made the whole experience really positive. We're very grateful for the value and care we received from Flower Moxie!

At first I was hesistant to hire a month of coordinator, I'm very organized and was loving the planning process so I wasn't sure it would be worth it. I can't believe I ever thought I could do without! As soon as I began working with Jess my planning process went from fun to incredible. She managed the little last minute details while I could enjoy the days leading up to our wedding. She helped me make decisions when I asked for help, but always supported me and never pressured me to do anything a certain way. She handled last minute changes to our ceremony and a rainy day shift like a champ. She was super positive, kind, and organized. Our wedding was perfect! Even my other guests and vendors were complimenting me on her! Working with SEG was great as well, they made booking and payment easy and checked in with us directly throughout the process. I can't recommend them enough.

The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!

The Faux Bouquets
Rating: 5.0 (42 reviews)
  • Florist
  • Starts at $175
  • Serves Butternut, WI

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
We were so delighted to use The Faux Bouquets for our wedding. We ended up having a family emergency that forced us to downsize the size and budget of the wedding just a few months before the wedding, and the team at TFB were so accommodating and helped us to find a solution that still allowed us to use their flowers in our (modified) ceremony. We were a bit concerned about the flowers getting smushed in shipping, but they arrived looking absolutely STUNNING and with plenty of time before the big day. Even my gardener of a grandma couldn't tell they weren't real flowers! We were so happy with how everything looked on the day, and in pictures they look just as lovely. Can't recommend The Faux Bouquets enough! There's no visual difference compared to real bouquets and they are much more affordable. The last big selling point that I would advise future brides, and I did not really consider this, is that because the flowers don't wilt, we could set the decor out the night before--which is a LIFESAVER to not have to worry about on the special day! Anything that will save you time and stress on the day of the wedding is a big win!

Edgar is the best! He was fun to be around and up for anything. He traveled hours to meet us and even went on a pretty buggy/muddy hike to capture the most incredible photos. Working with Jen for our October 2025 wedding was AMAZING!! From the moment we sent in an online inquiry, Jen was attentive, responsive, thoughtful, and incredibly detail oriented. She got us set up with a project planning doc immediately, and she was SO patient with us even when we were annoyingly indecisive about our vision lol. She met with us via Zoom to answer all of our questions when we were struggling to finish the document (and she is just as thorough and helpful via Zoom as she is via email). Once we placed our final order, Jen was communicative and thorough about the process of what happened next in terms of pickup, payment, etc. When we picked up our flowers, we were ASTOUNDED by how beautiful they were. I mean, we knew they would be beautiful, but truly, WOW. Aside from bouquets & boutonnieres, we also got garlands to use as centerpieces for our guests’ farmhouse tables, as well as small wooden circle magnets with a flower on top (we wood burned the j c into them ourselves) to use as favors. And they all looked incredible. An employee at our venue said that our decor was “the best she’s ever seen this place look,” and a large part of our decor was these flowers. I cannot recommend Jen and Wood and Word Blooms ENOUGH!!! PS bouquet photo is from today (1/5/26)!! The longevity is insane!

Being part of the bridal party, I got to see how calm and professional they were with all of us girls. They made us laugh, fixed our hair when it was out of place, and caught such fun shots that look amazing.
