I’m a photographer, a teacher, sometimes a musician, and an incredibly lucky husband. I’m always asked how I got into wedding photography. Well, my Dad taught photography, and he got me into it. The more I thought I about it, I remembered our family get-togethers when we would all sit around and watch a family slideshow (on actual slides!). Fast forward to a few years later. A friend of mine asked me to photograph his elopement, and in looking at the photos afterward, I was hit with a wave of emotions. I understood why my Dad always had a camera, and why we sat around at Christmas or some other holiday and watched slides of everyone together.
